What We Do
Hearts of Empowerment aims to be the last charity communities will ever need.
We believe that every community is important and deserve the right to fight for positive change. We provide resources and tools to various at-risk communities across the DC Metropolitan Area.
Hearts of Empowerment helps DC youth build the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to create successful futures.
Through our Pathways to Opportunity program, we provide academic support, college and career readiness, mentorship, leadership development, and social-emotional support to high school students across Washington, D.C.
We believe that talent is universal, but opportunity is not. That's why we work alongside schools, families, and community partners to ensure students have access to the resources, guidance, and experiences they need to reach their full potential.
Our goal isn't simply to help students graduate. It's to help them discover a path that's right for them, whether that's college, entrepreneurship, the skilled trades, military service, or another meaningful career.
