Thanksgiving in a Pandemic
This year we took it upon our shoulders to ensure families across our community have the means to have a happy Thanksgiving.
On November 21st, 2020 we were able to successfully deliver food and resources to the fire and rescue departments in Leesburg, Virginia. A majority of these first responders will not be able to have a proper thanksgiving dinner with their families and we wanted to make sure they were able to share a moment within their firehouse families.
We were also able to fund the projects of other charities' Thanksgiving programs. Funding was given to a nonprofit, For the Love of Others, which provided meals to 280 families.
In addition, we assisted nonprofit Empowered Mums, in order to assist single mothers in Leesburg, VA. and The PUSO Foundation, which helped feed 126 people in SE DC.
We would like to recognize the efforts of all charities, as we see it as our duty to provide families the nourishment needed to enjoy a happy Thanksgiving!
